Hi

Anyone out there got or know anyone making Off Road trailer tents?

Advice welcomed. :wink:

VW made a cracking off road camper between 1985-92 which will save you knobbing about with a dumb-assed trailer thing. It's called a Transporter Syncro....

perhaps he 's got a doka or single cab and has nowhere comfy to sleep. unless he is a 4ft dwarf who can sleep on the back seat of a doka :roll:

theres a dome tent(American) that erects in a pickup bed & extends behind to give you a livin area but you sleep in the pickup bed bit incase of floods, twas on a Mazda type thingy but would probably fit a Doka---sorry no clues but its on 't internet somwhere-- :D

If you are looking at tents from the states, you might as well look from South Africa. They do a lot of offroad camping there and some of the stuff is really fantastic

I find trailmasters estimates of the distances of their trips to be less than the true milage??or is it just me.
