Hi
My van has developed a fairly quiet, high pitch squeal that seems to be coming from the rear right wheel when driving, there is no play in the bearings when jacked up and it turns freely, I can make it stop by resting my foot lightly on the brake pedal, which is not a permanent fix!
Could it be something easy like muck in the drum?, I'm not much good with brakes, due to their `importantness` I generally leave them to the grease monkey (he's quite tame!)
Any info/help would be appreciated.
Cheers

High pitch squeal
My only toy now is a broken T25 and a sack full of BMX bikes. How the mighty have fallen (or got sensibler!!)
If at back sound like edge of drum just nicking the brake shoe, fractional bearing movement in/out, which isn't uncommon, even with new rear wheel bearings... usually on corenring one way or the other.
Could ignore or inspect inside of drum, maybe remove any lip
