battery charging

any one rigged up a 4 amp battery charger permenant to a leisure battery
of electric hook up instead of buying a zig unit seems a cheaper option and means i can run my sounds without flatting battery after a couple of days

brought a 10 amp battery charger and wired that in. I think it was for use in caravan but does the same job in the van. Its is a 240v supply from the mains hook up and then is connected straight to my leisure battery. It constantly monitors battery useage and charges when nessecary. Works really well but is not that cheap to do although cheaper than zig unit.
