What conversion have I just bought???

Post by The Flying Scotvan »

This is my second attempt at buying this van and hopefully it will stick this time. Going to pay for it tomorrow.
Does anyone have any idea of what conversion it is? Possibly an Aztec high top roof??
Never owned a T25 before. Had three bays, one spilt a couple of bugs and now a T25. This one is one owner from new with 53k on the clock. Not may of those around now.

Thanks folks. I've been without a van now for a year and really struggling to cope! I sold my 1960 split for a 1966 split crew cab pick up which has since been a labour of love restoring (see more here www.floydthecrewcab.blogspot.com). This is my 5th camper (1 split, three bays). Can't wait to get a shot of a T25 though. I'll look into the Auto homes campers. I thought it was an Aztec hightop like the one below...

I think this conversion is called the ENTERPRISE.There was a conversion company called beckenham motor caravans. It was in beckenham which is near to croydon south london.I had a sheldon low line high top put on a t2 bay in the 90s there was several t25s having high tops fitted and furniture kits it looks like your van it was then called the enterprise. The company went out of business in the mid 90s.Oh the roof looks like a sheldon high top.

thats a EMC, both roof and interior I'd say, later
EMC roofs has EmC on the back of the roof and its a simular mould to the yorkshire conversions roof........

has it got no paperwork? unusual for a one owner camper not to have details passed on.

i think you will find it is a Beckenham conversion in the early days they bought their furniture kits from Jo and Diane at EMC.They used to put the leisure battery in the last wardrobe cupboard and used a couple of metal "L" brackets to hold the battery in situ

It looks like the enterprise that Beckenham did . If it is its a heavy conversion.
