Post by lambrettalee »

i have what can only be described as an overlap on our glowplug light on our diesel where it cant make its mind up whether the engine needs the glow on or not, when its cold it comes on, but between warm and cold it doesnt, i have looked on jk and there are several to choose from, any idea which one i need??

Check sensors for clarity of connection. replace old wire with new wire if needed cause it reduces the current to the glow plugs. the light will stay on for just as long but will not heat engine as well.

i know what your saying but mines not functioning when it should come on , the engine turns over for 4 or 5 turns before she fires emitting a ploom of diesel smoke, when a quick glow and a click on the starter and she,d be off, i know i can disconnect the plug at the back of the head and it will glow every time but i want it to work as it should....
