Question..whats the difference between the AAZ and 1Z engines?

1Z is ECU controlled.....AAZ isn't.

One is turbo with direct injection and as a intercooler too, one is not and does not
just a turbo diesel with indirect injection (but a good one at that)and revs better

1Z Has much more complex wiring a bit more power (90 bhp) but like above said it's electronically controlled

AAZ Is much more like the original 1.6 just bigger, just put one in mine, will let you know how it goes when I get it running, and you can tune them to 100 Bhp quite easily
