fitted a wiper tailgate to a wiperless van, and you need the whole wiring front to back, cut hole in body and tailgate, get correct rubber tube/grommet from vw for about £4, though the wiring from the switch to the fuseboard will probably be there in my experience but check, but you need the correct wiper switch, or a seperate one and a way of operating the circuit, you need the relay, a late van with said fusebox and to run a couple of wires to the pump/reservoir and to the motor and fix earth's as required. Contact one of the breakers who will probably have just what you need.
