horn connection on steering wheel

Post by gilbert »

1986 T25
About 2in of metal on the horn connection has been stripped away (a key on the keyring managed to get jammed in between the steering wheel assembly as I was driving along) so the horn does not work in the 'straight ahead' position. It does work as soon as the steering wheel is turned slightly. The dreaded MOT is due next month, so do I have to get a new steering wheel (and if so, where), or does anyone have a 'fix'?
Cheers in advance
Gilbert

you just need the horn ring.

IIRC its held on with a couple
of crosshead screws.
