Wheres your Propex fitted.....??

Post by toolsntat »

Right then, after having it sitting around for about 3 years   its gotta be fitted

Thing is where ???

Having an Aircooled one of the thoughts I`ve got is to put it up front behind the grill above the spare wheel. The hot air could then possibly be sent in through to the rear via that vent in the step where the warm air distributor would usually be if they had them fitted....

Has anyone done this before??

Have an Autosleeper, and that was fitted in the cuboard nearest the front of the van, the vent points backwards. I say was fitted as the owner before me ripped it out and sold it, so unless you want to sell me yours, my van no longer has one.
If I had a choice, I suppose the best place is under the bed locker, as this is roughly the middle of the van?

Although there is room the water tank is there and it stays really naturally cool through the summer and I would rather keep it that way...

Any other cupboards create venting problems....
Mind you a gas supply to behind the grill would be a task ...
