square headlights

Post by Ray »

Just started tonight to fit my new rhd lights. I notice on the passenger side the cables foul the wider light I guess its just needs uncliping and moving back. Similarly the inner bracket for the two light system seems to be in the way also - assume I can cut these off as the new ones are on the mounting frame. Also what are the two biggish wire wound resistors behind the passenger side headlight - not noticed them before. I intend to upgrade the headlight wiring whilst I am at it.
PS Took my front spare wheel carrier off as rear one coming. Its a home made effort that bolts to the cross bar below radiator grill. Obviosly been on there a few years and holds the wheel on fine resting on the metal bumper. Anyone who wants it I will save it for you FOC

yeah you got it, just clip the cables back, cut off the inner lamp brackets that are foulin you and make two new ones to mount where needed further in.
