Bliddy buzzer of doom

Post by ermie571 »

I know this topic has been well covered before, but I am supposed to be going to Bashtie in the velle Saturday.

She had an oil leak - turns out to be the lower oil pressure sender.

Been in today and ha it changed. No oil drip, but constant buzzer. There is plently of oil in....half way up the dip stick. 15-40 grade.

1.9dg gassed.

Not overheating according to the temp guage. No apparent lack of power either....but seems to be hot in the engine. Don't know if this is me being paranoid, but the air vents are also delivering very warm air.

so, oil leak and no buzzer vs no oil leak and buzzzer

any thoughts for sorting it tomorrow?

Am going to read some of the thread now....

Will still do bashtie - maybe not in this velle, though.

Buzzer,,,,,

Post by Fritz »

Try to nip it back in tomorrow and ask them to check the oil pressure, just to be on the safe side,,,,,,,,If it shows all is fine and dandy it might be something simple like a bad connection on the multi plug/printed circuit on the dash clocks.
