Kangaroo behaviour

Post by Jonni »

Hi,

My van has started behaving very strangely. It seems to lose power suddenly and then lurch and die several times before running ok, then it loses power again. It has stalled on me. I figure it must be something to do with the fuel supply as it starts up OK.

I've made a speculative request for a replacement carb, but I may well be barking up the wrong tree.

Anyone had a similar experience?

Had a similar problem last year. Turned out to be a problem with the carb, had them refurbished been ok since.
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.

try redex fuel treatment will take at least one tank through it to cure it but its good stuff i cant recomend it highly enough for fuel problems if it dont cure it its mechanical problems then. i now put it in every six months or so just to keep the system clean.
