Any one know what the arrowed circular grille thing is for? The switch/button on the left is the on/off for the propex. Wondered if it was some sort of thermostat for the propex?
Don't know if I'm being a bit thick or not
Cheers.

It's a speaker for your stereo. There should be another on the oposite side.

Henry, where abouts in the country / world do you live and what sort of van have you got i.e. is it a professional conversion (such as Autosleeper, Autohomes, Westfalia, Leisure Drive . . . ) or a DIY conversion?

Not sure 'bout that Dave. The propex is down on the floor and has got its inlet & outlet vents in the cupboard in which it is housed

Could just be the vent to help keep the back of the zig ventilated to stop it getting too hot

I would gently lever it off and see what lies behind !
Loads quicker than postulating on here.
But maybe not as much fun
