T25 Keys

Post by jen&mark »

Hello,

Can someone help?. Ive lost my key for the sliding door of our 1984 Transporter 1.9 petrol. (it is a different key than the ignition and cab doors)

I dont have a spare but heard that you could get the lock re-keyed? Does anyone know where to get this done? I have taken the lock off the sliding door to see if there is a code on the lock but can only find:

252843703
251843704
POS

Is this any use?

Many Thanks

Simon also does 101 other things to T25s as well. So good there is a waiting list for service work.
I spent a whole day up there recently having work done, learnt a lot about the van as well.
Simon should charge for a tuition session as well as the service work.
Best day out I have had for ages

Hi

If you have an hour to spare you can get your sliding door lock to match your existing key. It's a easy to do all you need is some old VW locks.

All the details on the site below.
