Best play value?

Post by niffy »

As the van is off getting her "new coat" :D :D I can only dream of when we will be next off in her.

I had to unpack her (very interesting and slightly scary  ) and found the box of toys for our five year old. She is a very active and so these are only for really bad weather or inforced "calming down" time  Favourites are: paper and paints, magnetix and those bendy straws and plastic bits thing and snakes and ladders.

Any suggestions for a new selection box this summer :?:

Cheers

mininuts jnr (Dan) loves travel games like Scrabble, Connect 4, Who's Who and even Monopoly. I think it's the fact they're all miniature in size, they keep us all happy for ages. He is a bit older at 7 though.
Also got him a Nintendo DS for xmas, best £100 I've spent in a long time as he can use it whilst travelling in the van. No more "are we there yet?"

Mancala is a favourite with our two.

When we first took Jess in the tent we bought a biscuit tin sized box of games for when it rains gawd knows how many games are actually in it, it hasn't been opened yet!!!!

Ah - thank you ruby - We were talking about that last weekend, but couldn't remember the name!

If only we could find a solution to the "are we there yet" - can't use things like nitendo etc because of travel sickeness. Pub sign cricket is a favourite and pretty good- no good on the motorway though!
