diesel plastic feed&return front to rear coolent pipes

Tel justkampers today inquiring about plastic feed coolent pipe part no JJ11044 OEM as listed in there mail order parts and accessories booklet.Answer was we dont supply this any more but have the return pipe only.Looking at both plastic pipes on the van they look like they could be interchangable.Only diffrence appears the feed looks marginal longer.Can anyone tell me if the return pipe could be used as the feed?.

i would say yes, although you maybe would need to do some jiggery pokery at the noisey end of the van, what year is yours, as later water sys have quite a difference on length of the pipes, dervs however are not so different in length, iirc

Thanks Mocki the van is 1989.I had a other look at both pipes on the van and the feed & return ends to the rad hoses look nearly the same length.So as you said the noisey needs a bit of jiggery pokery to fit .
