which system , early one has the j pipes that connect to the box via 6 bolts
late has all manner of pipes and i think the box has 3 nuts holding it on and the then the supports
just used a little bit more brute force and ingnorance og the grab twist and pull type, stanging beside the van holding the tailpipe rather than lying under it.

hope the new one goes on easier than taking off the old one, worth checking tightness of the nuts/bolts after its run for a while with the new one on, and nipping up any that seem loose after the exhaust has settled a bit. my new one had tell tale signs of soot, where it had been blowing slightly. took a few 're-tighten-and-run it for a bit' attempts til it was leak free
before i fit the new bits tomorrow do i need to clea\n up the flanges or use any sort of gasket paste? or do i just tighten up with the supplied gaskets in place?
