connecting speakers up

Post by donkey »

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how you feed speaker cable from under the dash through into the door.
I can not see a hole where it feeds through so it has got me stumped!!
Any suggestions?????????
Thanks Steve...

the proper way would be to drill a hole in the door and shell then insert a rubber grommet in the holes then thread the wires through.
but getting a drill in is a problem without removing the door :?
in gonna be putting speakers in my doors this weekend so i'll way it up then and let you know

Where did you end up putting the wires? I've just fitted the speakers to my door cards, but not sure where to put the wires either.

yep, out the cornor of the door card, under the carpet and up into the dash. looks crap and i have to keep threading the access back in every so often but it works.

The way Mocki suggested would be the way to do the job properly, thats how its done in all cars with door speakers
