oil and tyre pressures

ok, what pressures do you recomend for standard wheels n tyres ?.

And, I have a recon Vege 1.6td engine, what oil should I be using in it ???

i was told by vw to use diesel semi synthetic in the 1.6td i used to own...

The tyre pressures recommended by Herr Volkswagen in the 7/83 handbook for my w/c camper are:-

Front: 2.5 bars(35 psi) Rear: 3.3bars(47psi) Spare: 3.3bars(47psi)

The above pressures are for 185R14 C 6PR tyres. (C = Commercial)

According to the 1990 handbook, pressures are;
175R14C, Front 2.8 Bar, Rear 3.3 Bar.
185R14C, Front 3.0 Bar, Rear 3.7 Bar.
205/70R14, Front 2.1/2.5 Bar, Rear 2.8 Bar.
