I hope this is a question that's easily answered.
I have a 1982/Y 2.0 air-cooled Devon and I'd like to know whether or not this will have a brake servo.
On my trip to France over Easter I noticed a leak from around the brake light switch (2-pin) that sits in the bottom of the master cylinder. I'm guessing I have to replace the master cylinder so I want to make sure I get the right part... all the sites list a part that's only for servoed models.
Thanks, Ed
do i have a brake servo?

servo
Yes, all 2 litre models had a servo - the vac pipe comes from the inlet manifolds and goes thro the engine bulkhead at front left corner of engine bay - it's about half an inch in diameter.

I replaced the brake-light switch when the lights stopped working last summer (August, I think). I noticed the leak at Easter, although thinking back there's been a dark patch on the carpet that I couldn't quite explain for a couple of months.
I wonder if I did something to the thread in the master cylinder, or perhaps the new switch is just a bad fit.
Are there any seals involved?
Is it possible to over-tighten the switch when fitting it?
