Service required in Midlands.

Long time no speak - been busy doing a HNC and a full time job, forigners, etc - my T25's been rusting away nicely on the drive and I need to get it back on the road again....but...

Can anyone recommend a garage to service my wasserboxer Komet in the West Midlands / Worcestershire
I used to use VW Rescue in Gornal but they can't be arsed with campers anymore - their words! I've used a place in Penkridge, Staffs before and they seemed to know their stuff, but I cant find em now! Doh!

Oh - and while I'm here - I've discovered that the Propex heater actually works with a decent battery in the van - any ideas who I go to to find out if its safe to use? (Aint been used for over 10 years!)

I took my Devon 2.0 Aircooled over to Bear's VW in the centre of Birmingham last summer for a new fuel tank and filler-neck. They're round the back of the NIA, just off the inner ring road. Did a good job and I haven't had any complaints since. Can't find a number at the moment, but they're in the yellow pages.

personally i wouldnt bother with them!

have a look over on volkstorque, link is in my sig VVV ...someone on there should be able to advise you better as its a midlands forum
