Post by mark206000 »

I think I need a new fuel pump. Do they come with the 2 gaskets ? Don't see any listed on jk or gsf ?

Anyone know ?

Thanks !

I bought a fuel pump from GSF Brixton last week (it was a Pierburg pump) and it came with a single gasket to go between pump and the engine block, and cost around £45. Also checked the movement on the pushrod by turning the engine over before fitting the new one, it had a suprisingly small amount of 'push' (guessing about 5-6mm travel) but probably worth checking on yours first.
Ours is all up and running again, but then it failed the MOT just to spite us. Arrggh!
