Peter Norris in Brixton/Clapham North
He fixed a car on death's door for me for £30 about fifteen years ago ! Other garages were quoting new head gaskets, new engines etc

i got my MOT last year thru these guys. They used to deal with a lot of vans, less so now but very happy to take Gina in and deal with stuff. Sailed though.

I've used South London VWs in Croydon for the past couple of years. They are easy to get to from Clapham.

Very friendly and I've no complaints about their work.

I've also had Peter Norris recommended but never used them myself.

PS there was talk about a South London meet up last year but I don't think anything got off the ground. I'm up for another try.

You missed it then! There was a kind of last minute get together up on Box Hill, several vans and cold weather for a few hours! Perhaps another should be done soon, shout it out in General Discussion...

The only garage service i would use and recommend in London is Jacks garage fulham.Its run by Kiwis there work is first class undertakes camper mechanics Aircooled and water pre inspection for trips to europe. http://www.jacksgarage.co.uk/
