depends on the size of your relay and the distance between relays! using a standard 30A relay, if you are putting the batteries next to each other then 2.5mm wire, if they are a bit appart you can use 4.0mm, personally i always use 6.0mm wire, mostly because i have a ready supply of the stuff being a spark and that! make sure you put the fuses in line!

cheers mate whats 87a on relay for all the diagrams only have 87

have you got a 5 pin relay?? 87 is normall open, and 87a in normally closed.

ie if you go accross 86 and 87 with out the coil powered you won't have a connection, if you go to 87a with out the coil you willl have a connection!

yep had 2 5 pin relays in van but all wires have been cut was going to rewire them but as most off the wiring has been removed looking at replacing it

can i hook up the solar panel + to 87a so this keeps leasure one topped up
