Good Sunday morning guys
So my van is a Devon camper
I need to store it for the winter, I have a garage but the van is about 2 inches to big to get in there, the van would scrape in but for the roof light which stands proud
I’m happy to take it out, is there a blank that I could buy so it still lets a bit of light in that lies relatively flat to the roof???
Any advice appreciated or if you have one for sale let me know
Thanks
Mike

For a lower profile you could remove the sky light and try and swap for a same size fixed glass sunroof?

Are you running on standard wheels? Would letting air out of your tyres lower it enough?

I have a Devon Moonraker and had exactly the same problem. The roof light protrudes quite a lot
I removed the roof light and replaced it with a pre cut sheet of smoked perspex/acrylic, whatever it is called, sealed with CT1.

One trick frequently used by people to reduce the height of vehicles so that they can be shipped by container is to fit a set of cheap steel rims and use them without tyres as wheels to load the vehicle. You could maybe try something similar.
