Hydraulic cam followers.

Advice required on the fitting of new hydraulic cam followers to my 1.9 DG engine van.
On other Audi/VW vehicles that I have owned and fitted new hydraulic cam followers, the recommendation
was to immerse the cam followers in oil overnight before fitting, is the same procedure applicable 
with the 1.9 DG engine or do you fit the cam followers dry and adjust to 2 turns in on the tappet
screws after fitting.
