Big lumps of metals and spanners. Including servicing and fluids.

Throttle cable clamping bolt on '82 T25 2.0L CU RHD manual tranny

How the 'appropriate expletive' do you undo the front throttle cable clamping bolt on an '82 cu model. RHD manual tranny.
It say access is gained through the indicator, which gets an arm and a spanner in there, but there's no room to hold the mole grips on the back to stop it spinning.
I read that you can also get further access through the headlight orifice, but you can only get enough access to wiggle a couple of fingers through and wave at it from a distance.
It seems nuts, has anyone got any ideas? Any useful tips would be gratefully received Image
Cheers, Martin

lie on the floor with your hands reaching up past the cross member, the nut shouldn't be that tight it is only M6 and hold the rod on the end of the cable to stop it rotating

Yup, some triple jointed knuckles help. Access is difficult from all directions, but I got it through the indicator hole. Deep breaths and patience.
