I have a 1.9 DG and am getting the buzzer of doom.
Ive grounded the yellow wire for the higher pressure switch and the buzzer is still sounding.
Am i correct in thinking its a wiring issue?
How would i fix this or do i just delete the pin in the dash?

Re: Buzzer of Doom
continuity test the wiring from the back to the dash in sections
sender to the double plug in the engine bay (most likely place for a fault)
double plug to the 7 pin connector in the junction box
7 pin connector to the fuseboard
fuseboard to the 14 pin plug on the dash consul
wiring diagram in Bentley or online from Syncrosport or Sir Adventure website will show you the connections
(and really you should be doing a wet oil pressure test with a gauge to ensure the engine has the correct oil pressure at 2000rpm) but since earthing the connector at the sender end shows its a wiring issue as that should result in bod never sounding (even when the engine has poor oil pressure)
