Just replaced a leaky sump gasket/baffle plate. Drained all the oil, replaced oil filter, and refilled with 4.5L of 15W40 oil. However, the dipstick says the oil level is just below the minimum line.
I've turned the engine over (by hand) and left it for an hour but I've still got the same reading.
I don't want to start it without enough oil, but also don't want to over fill it!
Anyone have any tips?
Cheers.

That's fine, 4.5l of oil is what you need in these, but you have the wrong dipstick (intended for an upright installation). Either swap the dipstick, or make a new mark on it as your "full" level.

Cheers, mine has the T3/25 dipstick fitted. Maybe this gives it the wrong reading when installed on the 1Y?
I've definitely put 4.5L of fresh oil in though.
