I have, at work but it is a fairly useless bit of info as you don't know what rate they are set to
You can have 2 different springs at the same overall height but behave totally different once fitted.
It's all down to how the springs are tempered.
Also depends of amount of coils and thickness of wire used.
For the cost of springs it's really not worth chopping yours down.
