Numberplate lamp surrounds, fitting

Post by silverbullet »

Its been so long since I took these off, bought new ones from Brickie, defo bus/van not truck parts.

Do they just clip into place? I don't want to force them at £12 each and then break the tangs off.

All sorted. Remove tailgate seal, slide the surrounds into place, refit seal. Total brainfart moment!

You can be happy in the knowledge that your brain fart moment was also beneficial to me.

I have been looking at that part of the van for months thinking 'I am sure the number plate lights go here somewhere'.

It still needs the bodywork doing (30 yrs of rust monster), but at least I know again for now.
The senior moments in me will doubtlessly cause me to forget again by the time I fit mine.
