Sink Tap T25 1990

Post by msvs »

Hi there first post so be kind please ! We have a 1990 T25 California, LHD import. Had it for 8 years and the sink tap has never worked. Finally got round to looking at it this weekend and remembered that the previous owner had given us a replacement tap when we bought it. But - the new tap (it’s this one https://www.serial-kombi.com/en-GB/tran ... ker-n37925) although pretty much the same as the current one, seems to have a static bit of plastic on the black box where the old one has a bit of plastic that moves. Does that mean that the old one is faulty or the new one needs to be fixed in some way? I am aware that this may not be a clear question so feel free to ask for more pertinent details!

Your link doesn't work for me, maybe you can upload some pictures of the piece of plastic on both taps? (Use the black "i" above the text you type)

Eight years without a working tap!
Yep. Do post a few photos. That will certainly help.
