1.9 DG distributor won't come off

1.9 DG distributor won't come off
I am trying to remove my distributor off my 83 1.9dg but it won't come loose. I have removed both nuts for the clamp and made sure the engine is TDC but it won't budge. From what I have seen you should be able to just pull up. Is there something I am missing?

Put a bit of wd40 around the base of it. Its probably just wedged in from not being touched in ages.
