Hi all,
Does anyone know where to get spares for the Pierburg Carburettor? The bit of plastic that connects to the spring has broken, so vans off the road in a garage waiting to be fixed, while the fly wheel is being replaced.
TIA
Andy

Hi,
I've been in touch with Roger and unfortunately he had a stroke a couple of years ago and no longer does carburettor repairs or rebuild .

if you use something likt milliput to make a mould, and then an epoxy , you may succeed in making a replica. I have a 2e3 next to me and cant ID the part but the one oi have is off a ford,

your post about your carburettor, where the spring had come off the choke stepped cam,. it's attached to that.
The top of the carburettor has to come off to find the part.
I think there's something in the Wiki about this part breaking..
Thanks
Andy

This is the part (taken from the Wiki), been on Gower and Lee and it looks like they don't stock it.
I've contacted them in the hope they might have one knocking about
