Which starter motor?

Post by Che »

Hi, we have a 87 Devon Eurovette with a 1.9 petrol DG engine and 4 speed box.

Our starter motor has had it,.(I think some teeth have broken off!) So need to get a new one ASAP as she's ok our daily driver.

Been on GSF and they have a selection which fits,. but not sure which one I should buy, any assistance would be great.

Put your vans details into the link you posted and that should come up with the motor you need. Dont forget to change the oilite bush before you fit the new one.

Your link doesn't show any motors. A few of these will fit. Search results for: 'starter moto' | Just Kampers

Most of us use brickwerks for parts but they are out of stock. VW Starter Motor - T3 / Petrol / Manual (brickwerks.co.uk)
Dont forget to order one of these. VW Bush - T3 / Starter Motor / Petrol (brickwerks.co.uk)

Hi, unfortunately my nearest parts place is 25 miles away, with no public transport 😟😟, so only have online options.
