Awning fixing !!

Evening all. How’s everyone fixing there awning. We have a drive away that fits on a figure 8 system that clips on the gutter rail. When taking it off though it was pulling the gutter trim away. Need something that does not need it clipping onto the gutter trim.

Thank you. So how does the pole fit to the porch section of the awning. Ours as a piping which slides in the figure 8 piece

The majority of awnings have a channel through which you push the pole. I have had several over the years, and all have had one plus the piping for the figure of eight. TBH I have never seen one that doesn't.

I had one of them and it does take a pole and clamps.
