Long time reader, first time poster here.
I'm experiencing some issues with my 1990 diesel 1.6 T3 coach and could really use some advice. Initially, I noticed a leak from the gasket in the LDA, and after addressing that, I found that the tubes on the low-pressure side coming from the injectors were also leaking. I replaced the tubing, but unfortunately, the leaks persist.
I'm considering changing the fuel filter next, as my hypothesis is that the fuel filter might be creating pressure on the low-pressure side when the fuel isn't going through the filter fast enough. I suspect this pressure build-up could be causing the leaks and why replacing the tubes hasn't resolved the issue.
Before I proceed, I wanted to tap into the collective wisdom of this forum. Has anyone encountered similar issues? Could the fuel filter be the culprit, or is there something else I should be looking into?
Thanks in advance for your help.
