Fuel Pump

Finally got my engine back into my van this week and started the long process of trying to remember where all the wires and pipes go, and was doing ok until i got to the fuel pump.

It has three pipes to it, two at the top which i know one goes to the fuel tank and the other to the carbs, but for the life of me i can't work out where the third one (the one at the button of the pump) should go to?

Any help would be great, i will try post a pic later if that helps.

Engine type?

On my 2.0l Aircooled, I think its just a drain pipe.

yeah sorry, 2L air-cooled and apparently it is just a breather hose,
