I have templates and a design - depends on what the supports are like and which one it is. The fronts can be a right barsteward, all depends.
I did a weird thing on mine, made a funny hook and drilled into the rear cross-member - like an 'S' meat hook, but with twin pawls, and the strap was folded around it the lateral bit - just about worked (just about could hook it in)
Anyway, something like 20 swg stainless I used, maybe 18swg (0.036", just under one mm). Has to be flexi...
I'll bring a strip up to Coney if I can pick it up in time and if more time will scratch out the pattern on it.. if that helps
