hi folks -
I'm going to attempt to fit a new oddo cable on our van soon as our speedo / odometer stopped working a good few hundred miles ago - anyone have any tips or do's and don'ts before I get started? From my rather limited understanding I'll need to remove the front grill to get the old one out and feed the new one back through... I've got a kit with all the parts so hopefully it SHOULD just be a swap out job, right...?

Re: Odometer / Speedo cable replacement
It was a good while back when i did mine but i remember tying the new one on to the old one and then as i pulled out the old cable it pulled the new one in so i didn't have to much fiddling about behind the grill. I found the hardest part was getting it through the grease cap. If the grease cap whole is rounded instead of square then you might need a new grease cap as well.
