mrs just finishing off making curtains at minute i hope to get them hung tonight thinking of using magnets to secure bottoms to metal work dont know whether to sew them in or just put them on when closed

Sew them into little pockets on the bottom corners, less likely to lose them. :D

Watch out that the magnets dont rust with the condensation in the van and stain your fabric.

Try tying them in a small balloon, it's what we used to do on boats we were fitting out, salt water was worse for rust than your breath and farts!
