Can this seal be changed with engine in situ this is the fan end oilseal

Yes , it’s pretty easy but check it’s the oil seal and not the dipstick tube or oil pressure switch

i wonder if you could do me a favour while your pulling out your dip stick , could you measure it for me from the bottom to the point at which it stops in the tube , mine has broken and been welded in a previous life and im not sure if it gives the correct reading , thanks very much
