Apologies if this isn’t in the right section but seemed the closest fit.
I’m looking to attach my side ladder permanently so It doesn’t take up room inside.
Any ideas? Anything appreciated
Thanks
Side ladders use the rear jacking point as the main weight bearing area. The top part against the gutter is merely to stop the ladder from falling away. So find a way off slotting lower part into rear jacking. Then pinching top part to the gutter.

Years ago while working for a major component supplier to the automotive industry (injection moulding), I remember a safety clause relating to component drawings; minimum radius on all external surfaces - 2.5mm.
Why would you stick something so dangerous on the side of your vehicle?
Totally agree, once saw the whole wing of a mk1 golf gti peeled off by one those glazing van external racks, still it will keep people away when they overtake !
