Little plastic ignition thingy

Post by vanagonjon »

I picked up a starter from CJ th other day and he said that often T3 owners replace the starter when what is actually wrong with their vans is a little white plastic ignition thingy!!! I belive that this thingy is available at VW dealers. Does anybody know what it is called???? When I turn the ignition key nothing happens, no starter, no ignition lights, no dash lights, no temp or fuel guage, but the engine will turn off on the key.

Any ideas???

Cheers
