South African T25 clutch

Post by lexussoarer1996 »

Hi , i have just purchased a south african t25 , this is a 1991 2.5 , fresh import not yet registered , it has a noisy clutch release bearing , i have read some threads on the clutches and cant find any part numbers relating to the bearing.

is this part available in the uk and if so does anybody have the part number ?

any help is greatly appreciated.

The release bearing is the same as any other T3 one. The clutch is a special, basically a 240mm version of the petrol wbx one.
The clutch cover is possibly the same as the early Audi quattro MC engine with a recessed flywheel, the friction plate may also work but the splined hub wont have 100% engagement on the transaxle input shaft.

I wish I could forget this stuff...
