Strange noise

Been camping in my van now quite a few times.
Almost every night at about 2am I get woken by a loud noise that sounds like an animal gnawing in one of the cupboards.
I check the cupboard in the morning and there is nothing inside.
Any ideas, or should i call Ghostbusters ?

Have your rear windows got plastic vents, if so it could be the foam inside them flapping with the breeze, I know ours do.
