Window removal... how easy can it be done?

I need to remove all the windows at some point in my van so i can work on the rust.

All the seals are rotted and most have a 2 inch gap where it's shrunk back causing rust on the frame and inside the van.


If i get a full set of rubbers can i clean up the holes and de rust, put windows back in using the new rubber and remove them again later without damaging the rubber? (gona need a spray and can't afford till next year)

ps, do you meant a 2mm gap? wouldnt your window fall out if the gap was 2 inch ?
