KEP adapter plate plans DIY?

Post by futurecut »

Has anyone copied the KEP plate, made their own? Any schematics out there? Quite fancy doing the whole shabang. Budget is tight! Cheers

What are you trying to adapt to what (KEP do all sorts)? I've made various adaptor plates and hybrid bellhousings for things over the years and given a reasonable workshop they are not especially hard to make, engine mountings, clutch, flywheel, exhaust, cooling system etc are much more of a problem. If you have the gearboxes or bell housings from both ends of the conversion the plate is easy to sort but the other bits can be very difficult.
Why does the not quite finished job before last always conspire with the not quite started job after next to make what you should be doing now harder?
