I’m trying to dismantle my distributor, but struggling at the moment! I can’t get the hall sender drum off the shaft, I can see a little pin in the shaft. Is this supposed to be taken out first before removing the drum? It also looks like it has some sort of metal cap on top of the drum, is this supposed to pried off?
The top circlip has been removed and I’ve been soaking it with PB Blaster, but it won’t budge. What am I doing wrong?
I’ve got a new hall sender kit and vac can from Brickwerks which I want to install, if I can ever get it apart!
The distributor is off a 2.1 DJ fuel injection, automatic, with advance and retard
