I need some cans of the original colour medium blue for my carevelle. i found the code and a site which sells cans mixed to the code but the colors called mittel blue any body tried this or know where to get the correct match?

If you have the correct VW code you should be able to get the paint mixed at any auto-paint place (even Halfrauds do it).
But bear in mind that if its the original paintwork, it will have had 20 odd years to fade and won't exactly match the new paint.

excuse my GCSE-donkeysyearsago-German
but is Mittel not German for Middle (as in medium-like?)
